There are a lot of pirate costumes and accessories available this year due to the huge success of all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. New pirate costume accessories include things like: Jack Sparrow goatee and moustache, eye patches, swords, boots, guns parrots, hooks, and even Pirates of the Caribbean Davey Jones’ Key.

Captain Jack Sparrow

So you want to be the famous Captain Jack Sparrow? Well then you’ve got some choices to make.

If you want to win some costume contests and the hearts of all I’d search through eBay for hand made replicas.

If you’re not of the uber elite costuming group then I’d go for the Prestige Captain Jack Costume (on left) based on the third movie’s costume. I’d also splurge for the authentic pirate boots rather than the “boot covers” the costume comes with.

Complete the look with the Captain Jack Sparrow Accessory Kit (includes Jack’s compass, Sparrow tattoo, two rings, and hand wrap) and of course a pirate sword.

Elizabeth Swann

For those daring ladies who want to swashbuckle with the best of them we recommend the Elizabeth Swann Pirate Deluxe costume (also available in teen or child size). Of course to make it a little more convicing I’d add the pirate boots and pirate sword.

Even though this costume is from the third movie (At Worlds End) you can throw in a replica of the cursed aztec gold necklace Elizabeth wore in the first movie.

Other Miss Swan costumes include an all white dress (adult, or child size), and the Elizabeth Geisha costume (adult, teen, or child size).

Davey Jones isn’t just feared by all pirates who wander the scurvy sea. Davey Jones is the sea. Hold the key to Davey Jones’ locker and command a crew of immortals with this Davey Jones costume available in adult, teen, or child.

Complete the look with a buddy dressed in a Maccus Sharkman costume ( adult or child size).

Remember to add the pirate boots and pirate sword.
